The first quarter was extremely exciting for MB E-Association, Sioux Valley Dakota Nation and Canupawakpa Dakota Nation.  Both Communities have identified a location and have converted them into Innovation Centres.
The MB E-Association team worked directly with the communities to also provide them with 25 computers per Innovation Centre.  These Innovation Centres and the computers will now act as a resource to community members for training and to obtain computer skills.
In addition, Desmond Blacksmith has  been recently hired as the IT Coordinator for Sioux Valley Dakota Nation.  Desmond will be the main point of contact for community members wanting to use a computer or take training.  The IT Coordinator is a shared responsibility between Sioux Valley Dakota Nation and MB E-Association.
