 December 2007 - February 2008
The team worked extensively on providing training tools and other resources during this quarter. The outcome included CD training tools, virtual workshops and a community website. In addition, the team has been preparing for the evaluation of our project with Function Four.
Our team has been working directly with the education department in Canupawakpa Dakota Nation (CDN) in order to finalize a personalized community website. This website will be controlled and updated by CDN through its service organizations and other members of the community.
Our team also worked with other outside organizations in order to compile additional information on courses for aboriginals in the healthcare field. In addition, we have extended our relationship with the Manitoba Aboriginal Business Service Network (ABSN) in order to enhance the resources available to CDN. A workshop session will be scheduled in the next quarter in order to provide information to CDN adult learners on how to start a business, discuss available grant opportunities and various other business questions.
MB E has also worked extensively during this period on the Interactive Training Modules (iTM’s). The following modules were completed this quarter:
o Skype Internet Telephone Services o Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 (Part I)
